    In Korea, health functional foods are regulated by the Ministry of Food and Drug Safety (MFDS). Our Osong facility is GMP-certified by MFDS and certified to FSSC 22000, and Hurum brings more than 20 years of healthcare and food expertise. Led by JUNGWONSAM, our red ginseng has entered 12 countries, and we understand the export processes, quality standards and documentation that global buyers require.

  • Developing Your Formula

    Tell us your concept and target market. Our R&D team proposes a formulation, builds a prototype and runs functionality and safety testing before mass production. Lead time is 3 months from order confirmation to shipment for a new product, and 2 months for existing products.

  • Formats and Minimum Order Quantities

    Choose the format that fits your product and market: liquid sticks, powder sticks, pouches, tablets or capsules. Other formats are available on request. Minimum order quantities are 100,000 liquid or powder sticks, 100,000 tablets and 200,000 capsules; please ask us about pouches. Products are manufactured at our GMP-certified Osong facility or through qualified partner manufacturers.

  • Ingredients from Our Own Research

    Your formula can draw on ingredients from Hurum's own research, including three ingredients individually approved by MFDS: Litsea japonica fruit extract for joint health, Ecklonia stolonifera extract for liver health, and Aster yomena extract for improving nasal condition related to immune hypersensitivity. Our researchers propose ingredients that match your product concept.

    Hurum also builds and runs its own brands. Our portfolio includes health functional food brands such as TrueLAC probiotics, Hurum Science and Nutraplan, the healthcare brand Hurum Expert for clinics and hospitals, the homemade yogurt brand Yogurberry and the café ingredient brand I'myo.

  • What You Send Us, What We Deliver

    To prepare a proposal, we need your product concept, preferred format, estimated quantity and target market. From there we take your project through six steps: consultation and requirement analysis, product planning and formulation proposal, R&D and prototype development, functionality and safety testing, mass production with quality inspection, and shipping and logistics support.

  • Trade Terms and Samples

    We trade on FOB terms with a 50% advance payment. Samples are free of charge for small quantities, and the buyer pays for shipping.

  • Quality You Can Document

    Our Osong facility holds GMP certification from MFDS and FSSC 22000 certification, and we also hold HACCP certifications for a range of food categories. Selected products are halal-certified by the Korea Muslim Federation (KMF) or vegan-certified by the Korea Vegan Certification Institute.
